Have a problem that needs solving?

HAVE AN IDEA THAT NEEDS EXPLORING?

Each semester our teams of consultants work with New Zealand nonprofit organisations and help them find solutions to problems they are facing. Over this 10 week period, teams work with mentors, internal advisors, and professionals from the industry to create tailor made solutions ready to implement into your organisation.

Our aim is to create a mutually beneficial relationship between students and the community by providing pro-bono consultancy services to organisations like yours. Over the past seven years, we have partnered with over 45 NZ organisations to work with over 200 students on various projects, and we are excited to continue on making a tangible impact in our community.

Examples of Past Projects

Creating a brand identity and marketing strategy.

Developing a volunteer management and administration plan.

Conducting a feasibility study of a new program.

Developing the framework of a sustainable funding model.

The ThinkPod project with Coeliac New Zealand was to work together around the idea to develop an implementation plan for volunteer training for volunteers located nationwide, with limited resources both financial and human resources. The group of consultants were friendly, respectful, enthusiastic and great listeners who took the time to learn about our organisation and our needs. Understanding how to get to an action from an idea is not always simple, and they managed to develop something operational from a strategic objective. [Semester Two, 2020]

We would definitely recommend [the ThinkPod team assigned to work on our brief] to any future non-profit clients or otherwise. Their research was in-depth, the summary of next steps clear and helpful and the overall care and passion given is so appreciated. We now have tangible action plans to implement, helping us work towards more independence in generating long-term, consistent revenue to support our kaupapa, relieving the reliance on grants funding. Director of The Kindness Institute
The team we were assigned did an excellent job of developing a Youth Engagement Plan, and because they had capacity, did more work than we originally requested, which was a bonus. The strategy they presented included relevant research, was well thought through and tailored to our organisation. Thinkpod’s report supported our application for funding for a fixed-term Youth Engagement Manager who will implement much of the strategy devised by the ThinkPod team. [Semester Two, 2020]
